Founding Patrons

Some designs don’t need a committee. They need a few people who want to see them made.

Deepening a design, cutting the tooling and paying for a first run all cost real money — so we publish new designs before they exist, and open them to founding patrons.

How it works

  1. 1

    A new design goes up

Artwork, palette and tile list — published before anything is in production.

  2. 2

    You back it

You pledge the seed cost for that design: the deeper drawing, the tooling, the first run.

  3. 3

    We build it

Design rounds by email, then tooling, then the first run. Patrons see the proofs first.

  4. 4

    You are repaid per set

Every set sold afterwards returns a fixed royalty until your pledge is returned in full. Patrons also get the first sets, at founder pricing.

◇

What a patron pledge is — and what it is not

Not an investment, a share of ORO, or a stake in the business — a pledge against one design, repaid by a fixed royalty per set sold, and nothing more.

No equity, no dividend, no promised return. If you want the design to exist, this is for you. If you want a return, it is not.
